I understand that it's a rainy day and early in the morning so your cognitive functions may be lagging a little, but the next time you eat something bad and have diahrrea that's "really REALLY watery", could you please refrain from telling your friend (and subsequently everyone else) about it until AFTER you've exit the packed elevator? | it's a hassle to access Xanga in China since I have to do it through a proxy, but there's a definite sense of liberation knowing that none of my friends here in Shanghai know about this blog, so to a certain extent I can truly be "myself" in all my random, pointless, silly, and unsolicitated glory. that and i can talk smack about them behind their backs. just kidding. sort of.
but seriously, i've missed this. it's all your fault stupid facebook.
anyhow, i've got a couple things brewing but i guess i'll work my way back to the present starting from when i left glorious San Diego last year... |

| When did I realize I was Mexican? Maybe it was when I realized I was always darker than the rest of my family, or cause I had a strange affection for Mexican food, or maybe it's when your local CVS clerk doesn't even try English and just jumps straight to Spanish. Why do I even bother with China? I should be going to Mexico!
So I lost my phone on Saturday, but last night I dreamt that I found it... and lo and behold, I found it today! Just in time too... I got an important voice mail from a staffing specialist at Qualcomm asking to set up an interview! PTL =] Maybe it WON'T be goodbye forever afterall? *crosses fingers*

| today i took my last final of my undergraduate career. woot!
so i guess it's time for a quick update.
i'll be graduating and then heading to Shanghai for an unknown duration depending on the availability of jobs in the China market at the end of June.
